Discipline/ Subject and area of specialization:
Atmospheric Physics/climate physics/Physical chemistry/Atmospheric chemistry/environmental chemistry/ High Altitude Ecology / High Altitude Wetlands/ Environmental Geology/ Environmental Studies/ Environmental Management/ /Natural Resource Economics/ Environmental Economics/ Natural Resource Management/ Socio-ecological Development/ Forest Ecology/ Landscape Ecology/behaviour ecology/ecological modeling/restoration ecology/ plant animal linkages/ biodiversity conservation/ Remote Sensing and GIS/ Climate Change/ Ecosystem Services Valuation/ Environmental Modelling.

Desirable:

• Working experience in Peatlands Experience of aerosol studies and related modeling/weather and climate models/mountain meteorology /Climate chemistry related aspects in the Himalayas.
• Working experience in the Himalayan region, village ecosystem, Natural Resource Management, Policy and strategies.
• Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Sciences from a recognized University. Good quality publications in SCI journals

2. Technical Assistant (II)

Qualification:
First Class B.Sc in Natural Science/ Computer Science or equivalent.

Or

Diploma in Engineering/Technology of 3 years full-time duration or its Equivalent in relevant discipline.

Desirable:
Two years of relevant working experience in Research and Development Institutes/Rural Technology Centres/Indian Himalayan Region, Transfer of Technology for livelihood developments.

3. Administrative Officer

Qualification:

1. Degree of a recognized University/Institute
2. 5 years experience in Accounts, Administration, Establishment work in a Government Office/ PSU/ Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body

Desirable:

1. Post Graduate Degree / Diploma
2. At least ten years of relevant Experience in Government/ Government Research Establishments/ Autonomous Bodies/ Universities/ Statutory Organizations/ Government Organizations of high repute
3. Knowledge in Computer Applications and Office Automation.
4. Experience in handling Administrative/ Academic & R&D / Legal /Audit / Stores & Purchase /Establishment matters.

4. Accounts Officer

Qualification:

1. Degree from a recognized University/ Institute
2. 3 Years experience in Cash, Account, and Budget work in a Government Office/ PSU/Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body

5. Driver

Qualification:

1. Possession of a valid driving license for motor car
2. Knowledge of motor mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove minor-defects in vehicles)
3. Experience of driving a motor car for at least 3 years, and
4. Pass in 10th standard.
